Most africa american babys have a lot of hair, since you are a combo of both races I perdict the baby will have a good amount of hair. Hope i helped :]

i just gave birth 2 weeks ago to a baby boy, i am a black woman and the father is white, the baby came out white with lots %26amp; lots of carly think black hair. very handsome boy.

he is still white but i guess at the end he will end up light skinned. i call this kind of kids coloured .

but then again it all depends on who has the strongest blood. my girl friend is black and her husband white all their kids are totally white and they are now 7 years . and recently a saw a black cute baby and her parents are black and white. i guess you just have to wait and see how yours comes out.

regardless all babies are cute, white, black, green , what ever i love then all.

I think 98% of mixed race babies have that mixed type of hair.Probally silkly curls, and very light complexion.Thats all i ever see.

I laugh when people say looks come from dominant genes.. they so do not, that is just a myth. The only thing the father can determine is the sex of the baby. If your husband has more boys in his family, your baby will likely be a boy.

Your boy can look like either of you.. there is truly no way to tell. If you want a glimpse, the only thing you can do is get a 4d ultra sound done.. but why not just be surprised? He's going to be adorable no matter what. Congratulations!

PS.. Here are some facts.. I am light skinned and my husband is darker skinned. Our son came has skin like me. My friend's son is 1/2 mexican and 1/2 white.. he looks white!

Your baby will look like every other mixed-race baby. Dark skin (the shade will vary), with dark hair. Very, very rarely do babies born of mixed parents have fair coloring. It happens, but not that often. From all of the mixed children I have seen, more than likely, the baby will have African American hair, brown eyes, and toffee-colored skin. Think Jordin Sparks from American Idol. Her parents are mixed, her mom is white and her dad is black.

Even though the darker complexions are more dominant, there still is a slight chance that the baby will have fairer skin and eyes, like I said previously, it's just not likely.

EDIT:

To lil-pump:

I laugh at your claim that there are no dominant genes...HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!

Really, it does depend on whose genes are dominate. Dark hair and eyes are dominate, but as my sister found out, her Chinese, Caucasian baby has blond hair and blue eyes, as well as another friend (white mother mulatto father) who has 2 daughters one looks Hawaiian the other is blond with blue eyes.

I also saw a news show the other day where both parents were mulatto and the mother gave birth to twins, one had all the black genes, the other all the white genes. They say that is very rare, but it does happen.

You cant tell now and because all babies looks change from week to week (hair texture, complexion etc.) it may take a while. But please take a class or something on hair maintenance. I live in a community with a lot of interracial children and I know the moms. It is a common problem that they do not know how to care for their child's hair. So get a book or something, especially if you have a girl. You are a women so you know how important your hair is to you. I am a black women but my hair is thin, I did not even know how to care for my daughters hair (her hair is very thick), so I am not trying to be a jerk. Just something to think about. Good luck with the baby.

It is hard to determine because it depends on whose genes are more dominant. My husband is Puerto-Rican and I am black and my children look more hispanic then black.
