Henna for healthy hair. African American hair!

Hey,

I'm an Indian and have been using Henna since ages and ages.....yeah it does appear that your hair is dry and clumpy after you wash your hair...so the best way to fight this is oil your hair wid olive oil or coconut oil after you wash and dry your hair and wash it off the morning after. Let the oil stay in your hair overnight. So next morning wen u wash off the oil and use a light conditioner as always, ummmmm your hair will look and feel gorgeous. Also try not to blow dry your hair after you hve washed the Henna off as it wld further dry it.

JUST A REMINDER henna is an Excellent natural coloring agent and a Fffffabulous conditioner it also adds bounce to your hair But DO NOT FORGET TO OIL AFTER YOU WASH OFF THE HENNA.

No, probably not ruined, but it will have very little effect. Next time make sure that it is the consistency of mud before you put it on. Hennaing takes some practice, but it is a very forgiving process, I have never had the bad results from it that I have from dyes.

No, it will be fine. once you have rinsed the henna out, just add some conditioner and maybe a bit of oil. henna is a clay, so it will be clumpy.

Do follow with a deep conditioner. Queen Helena's Cholesterol Hair Conditioning Cream is great. Turns straw into silk. Alberto VO5 Hair Dressing is another temp option for shiny hair. Next time, remember to deep condition daily for a week to have hair cuticle filled and smooth before any chemical process. Love your hair. It's your crowning glory.

You mean coloring henna or natural henna? If natural (not for coloring)before applying add a little oil. then it wont get dry.
