Ahhh hair gels?

so i have african american hair and i absoloutly hate it. i always blow dry and flat iron it stright and relax it - the works. for the summer i want to give it a rest and wear it down - its kinda wavyish. i was just wondering if there were any good gels that worked for you on your

african american hair (because it probably wouldn't have the same effect on othertypes of hair). i don't want it to be crunchy and feel really weighed down, or crunchy. i don't want it too expensive either. thanks for any help. :]

I would try Aussie hair product they work well with wavy or any type hair I use it all the time

i dont have black hair (but im from the hood) and my friends be using a gel thats brown. it smells and works really good. sorry dont know the name!

You could try FX Curls Up. Or other gels in the FX range. It's available even in Wal-Mart. And Fantasia has gels that are supposed to really give control. But from my experience (I have natually curly hair), you might wanna layer a styling cream or lotion with the gel. i usually put the styling cream first then run the gel through.
