Black Hair care products?

Hello I'm trying to find a hair product that good for African American Hair. Something thats not harsh on my head, Or something that does not have Alcohol in it. I'm trying to grow my hair. It do not have to be black hair care products. because I have a friend that uses Other hair products like John Freida, Or Nexus and those products actually help her hair grow. I tried Dr. Miracle and I like it. It's just hard for me to find that product while im overseas. Can someone help Any Suggestions.

I pretty much pass on the same info to as many Black women as I can; I don't know where you live, how much money you have to spend, or what texture hair you have, but I've found the more natural the ingredients the better it is for your hair. Watch out for this stuff in your store bought products

sodium hydroxide (lye), calcium hydroxide, lauryl sulfates, parrafin, mineral oil, petrol oil (petroleum, petrolatum, and others), propylene glycol, sorbitol, DEAs, MEAs, parabens, and oleths, these and many others have been linked to cancer, hair loss, and skin conditions of the scalp. Look it up online or at the library, and call or write the companies for their uses and health links. I did and you'll find any combination of them in most AA hair products. The closer to the bottom of the ingredient list, the better it is for you.

if you are overseas at an FPO/APO address like me the best thing i've found is Northwest Scents. They have all natural products Shampoo, Conditioner, Pomade and oils. They all work amazing in my hair (i'm all natural and don't relax at all)
