African american girls please help!!!?

I am african american and my hair is curly, but kinky and poofy at the same time. I want a product that is not to much money, to tame my hair, but bring out more of the curls. I want it to look like this:

but a little more flat, i heard "curls" products are good!

I have curly soft hair that can sometimes get kinky when its really dry, but I know of some great products that u can buy (online only.. not sold at hair stores or salons) that can do almost just that. One is Miss Jessies Curly Pudding i love how it makes my hair feels after it airdries, and the Curly ButterCream is good but it kinda weighs my hair down (thats what I want it to do, my hair is long but b/c of the curls they look short) and is kinda greasy if u put too much on, and also try Mixed Chicks Leav-in.. all of these u put in your hair after u wash and let airdry. The next day if i want to fix my hair back up without washing it i just add some gel (i buy the pink 16 ounce jar gel at walmart in the ethnic hair section) and go. here are the links

Miss Jessies hair products (yes i know they are expensive)

And here is mixed chicks..

if u want to buy these at teh same website Curlmart has it

www.curlmart.com

If u dont know which one to get, i recommend Miss Jessies Curly Pudding, and Mixed Chicks. I know the price is high but sometimes if u look on ebay to see if they sell miss jessies u can get it for cheaper.

one more thing.. they sell something VERy similar to the miss jessies product at teh dollar store, i dont remember the name of it but it has the same grape smell and purple color cream to it and its a leave-in. Try miss jessies, and if u like it but dont want t buy try the one at the dollar store i think its kind of an imitation but i dont know, i have never tried it, and its in a 16 ounce jar too.

Hey, this is cool, if u want some hairstyles, i have hair like this, maybe u should try these styels too here ya go and good luck!

Try a curl activating shampoo, and some rollers. You could buy it at a drug store or CVS or Walgreen's. I recommend Wal-Mart if you want to go cheap. Try Tresseme.

OMG MAKE UP YOUR MIND! Despite all of the jibber-jabber I think i know what you mean. The hairstyle you selected needs a perm and loose spiral curls. If you get products that make your hair kinky, you can't achieve that look the way you want it. For the money issue, you can buy things at your beauty supply for no more than about $5.
