Yeah, I do sometimes but my hair is kind of wavy already. It really depends on the kind of hair you have, if it is really nappy or in super tight curls it probably wont work. But i gather from your name that you are Cuban ( I assume a black Cuban not a white Cuban) so you probably have a hair type that will work. Just wash it, put in a leave in conditioner, then put mousse in it, scrunch it and let it dry. For those who don't understand ethnic hair, some other races have hair types similar to blacks. I have an Iranian friend (born in Iran) whose hair would be considered just like black peoples, some Cubans, puerto ricans, %26amp; brazilians have hair that is similar to blacks. I also have full blooded Samoan cousins whose hair is just like mine.

Yes, my beautician used to scrunch mine (used to be the style back in the day) and she would use the same method that finger waves are done, but they scrunch your hair, then dry it while they are scrunching to hold the style.

It would help if your hair was naturally curly and wavy. Wash and condition, then partially dry it w/ a towel. Section the hair int small blocks and comb Thur with a little gel then braid it tightly. Do this all over and let the hair continue to dry until its just barely damp. carefully unbraid all the hair and try not to frizz the hair. then just use a little more water and gel to shape the "waves" the braid strands made until you like how it looks.

..yes you get a crimpping iron, it works on every bodies hair. don't forget a styling jel to hold the crimps in place.

African American hair is very pretty. There is a treatment that you can do that makes it softer though. And then maybe it would work. I scrunch my hair but I'm white. So it's a little easier for me. But I'm sure your hair is beautiful.

generally yes but has different affects on dif hair types, the kinker the less likely you can scrunch for curls add moisturizer or conditioner to wet hair when doing it.

if relaxed it depends on how easily your hair is willing to style.

basically you take your palm and push the hair towards the scalp and scrunch.

ohh god yes ok so i jsut got done washing my hari and well i have relaxed hair and when it's wet i have a deep wave to my hair and so it's easy for me to get it scrunch but what you can do is wet yor hair on clean hair and buy herbal essencse scrunch me up gel it's in a pruple tube and you use that to get even prettyer scrunch hair
